Color & grain

• Heartwood: Light pink to reddish-brown when freshly cut, darkens over time to a deep, warm reddish-brown.
• Sapwood: Lighter, almost white to yellowish, clearly set off from the heartwood.
• Grain: Mostly straight, with a fine, homogeneous structure and occasional dark veins or wavy patterns.

• Weight: Average density, approx. 580-650 kg/m³ in the dried state.
