In most cases, you can start editing right away.  However, for filigree work, such as <strong>instrument making<\/strong>, we recommend a short acclimatization.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Can I only buy wood with upright growth rings?<\/h3>\n<p>No. A shipment can include timber with both upright and horizontal growth rings.  Since cutting a trunk produces significantly fewer woods with upright growth rings, their proportion is naturally lower.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Why are only certain precious woods available in the shop?<\/h3>\n<p>We only offer precious woods that are currently available in our shop.
